The growth of the Cypriot economy is unstoppable, but unemployment remains high at 12,9% (February 2017). The unemployment in Eurozone (9,5%) is considerably higher than the rate of the EU 28 (8%). Czech Republic (3,4%), Germany (3,9%) and Malta (4,1%) remain the champions of the lowest unemployment rates! Ireland, that suffered first by the global financial crisis of 2008, is now at 6,6%, showing a full recovery from the devastating crisis.
